I spotted this Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia) while on another river trail walk. The song it sings always reminds me of a beautiful summer day. I believe this little bird is a female due to the lighter colours, but I am unsure. All resources I’ve accessed don’t have too many details except that their colours are similar.
